One UI 7 beta continues to progress. The latest leak points to a launch coming in just a few days

It seems that Samsung wants to release a beta as stable as possible that will reach the Galaxy S24 very soon

2024 has been a big year for Samsung in terms of launches. Over the past few months, the South Korean firm has brought a good number of devices to stores, among which we must include products that have debuted this year such as the Galaxy Watch Ultra , the Galaxy Ring or the recent Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition . However, there is something that is resisting it a bit : One UI 7 .

Samsung’s new custom skin, based on Android 15 , has not yet entered its beta phase. Several different leaks have tried to anticipate the launch of this one, but none of them have been right . However, the latest of these leaks, published by the user X NMPS , points to very specific dates that make perfect sense.

One UI 7 beta is about to begin

All of the recent new versions of One UI that Samsung has released have gone through a beta period before the final release. This phase is extremely useful: it allows users to try out the new features in their hands and detect possible errors so that the company can correct them. Obviously, this takes a few weeks , and this is precisely the key detail to understand that the dates given in the leak match very well with Samsung’s calendar.

The user who posted this One UI 7 beta release window has previously posted other information about Samsung. In this case, user NMPS, as we can see below, is very clear : the beta will arrive on the Galaxy S24 series next week.

Be careful, because it does not only limit itself to giving a date for the start of the One UI 7 beta. In addition, it also talks about dates for its arrival to other older devices, although also for the S line. These are the dates published by NMPS :

  • The Galaxy S24 will receive the One UI 7 beta the first week of December.
  • The Galaxy S23 will have to wait two to three more weeks for that.
  • The Galaxy S22 will receive the beta early next year.
  • The Galaxy S21 will not have access to the beta in this case.

In order to analyze this information correctly, we must take something into account: the Galaxy S25 will be the devices that will debut the stable version of this custom layer. The latest leaks indicate that the Unpacked where this new family will be presented will take place around January 23 , so, if the beta is launched next week, Samsung would have more than a month to polish it to the max .

At the moment we don’t have any official information on this, although as we said above, these are dates that fit perfectly with Samsung’s annual release calendar . At this point, we can only do one thing: wait.
